Businesses invest plenty of money in their branding. This is because they want to be noticed by those looking for a product or service in a particular field. Ideally, great branding should show this person that they are relevant, most professional, most fitting candidate for those needs. The branding should also suggest a good experience, and even that they’re worth using for other needs also.
But branding isn’t just about being noticed. When it’s good, it’s about being memorable. Simply try a quick logo recall test online and you’ll notice how many business logos you have in mind, and you might even recognise them from a particular font. If so, that’s great. It means a marketer, somewhere out there, has done their job well. But when it comes to implementing this into your own firm, it can be hard to make decisions.
But in reality, marketing is relatively simple. It’s important to remember that you’re always dealing with people, and thus striking a healthy emotional reaction can be a great thing. Let us put that into practice with the following advice:
Slogans
A great slogan can go a long way to helping people remember you. A great slogan can also become almost synonymous with your brand. For example, let’s consider slogans that have been extremely successful and analyze why they work. You may be familiar with Nike’s ‘Just Do It’ campaign. To this day, they use that. Not only is this a great, easily memorable and punctual slogan, but it’s also motivational. It’s not only limited to Nike, either. ‘Just do it’ is a pretty common term, something we all internalize when trying to get through something we’re not a fan of. They’ve taken that relatable ideal of getting to a better place through positive action, and have made it the spirit of their brand. To that end, it is brilliant.
Let’s take another slogan for a brand perhaps a little more indulgent in its offering. KFC’s ‘it’s finger lickin’ good.’ Not only does this evoke an image of someone heartily enjoying their meal to the point where you feel hungry just picturing it, but through this they’re also enjoying a place on words, as lickin’ rhymes with chicken. It sticks in your mind. Therefore, don’t be afraid to try your own simple, effective slogan. It could help your branding that little bit more.
Trade Show Displays
Once you have the name, the font, and the logo of your business adequately designed, you need to present it as well as possible. Design a beautiful universal letterhead for your correspondence. Utilize SEG banners to apply your beautiful logo across your expo displays and within your office. Format your website using this as the base. This way, your business makes a true impact, and is visible from all angles.
Engagement
Have your audience engage with you. Continually promote being followed on social media, having your email lists joined, and send out newsletters from time to time. It’s important to continually engage your customers, offer promotions, and watch your numbers grow. This way, your chances of reaching more people with every update you post, and being followed by others is increased.
